The Palestinian Museum is an independent institution dedicated to supporting an open and dynamic Palestinian culture nationally and internationally. The Museum presents and engages with new perspectives on Palestinian history, society and culture. It also offers spaces for creative ventures, educational programmes and innovative research. The Museum is a flagship project of Taawon-Welfare Association and one of the most exciting new cultural projects in Palestine.

Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Resource Mobilization Manager, the Resource Mobilization intern will assist the Resource Mobilization team in various activities and other duties. A work-plan with achievements for the duration of the internship and learning opportunities will be agreed upon.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the written presentation of the Palestinian Museum’s mandate and emerging program and priorities, which is linked to the need for increased financial and non-financial support for the Palestinian Museum;
- Assist in researching prospect profiles and update donor profiles;
- Draft letters and applications to prospects and some administrative support on various communications with these prospects;
- Assist in preparing donor communication materials;
- Assist Resource Mobilization team in writing timely summaries of meetings, and preparing documents for meetings;
- Set up meetings and support team in meetings with prospects;
- Support prospect management through continuous and accurate updates on the Salesforce software;
- Undertake other tasks and activities as requested.

- Enthusiastic about the Palestinian Museum, Palestinian culture, arts, history and society;
- Available to work at the Museum premises in Birzeit, Palestine for a minimum of 3 months and maximum of 6 months.

Undertaking a graduate or undergraduate degree in international relations, development, communications, journalism, or related field; and strong academic background in research, international relations or another related field.

Experience from writing and data collection and analysis duties and working in an international environment desirable;
Experience in filming/video editing and photography desired.

The Resource Mobilization Internship will provide you with highly employable and in-demand skills such as the resource mobilization milestone and workflow, writing grant applications for cultural and artistic projects, fundraising-centered communication, and database management. Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Resource Mobilization Manager, a work-plan with achievements for the duration of the Internship and learning opportunities will be developed and agreed upon. This is a paid internship program and runs for a minimum of 3 months, and a maximum of 6 months, 40 hours per week.

The Palestinian Museum’s Internship Policy
Health Insurance is the intern responsibility. The Museum is not liable for injury sustained or health conditions that may arise for the Intern during the course of the internship. Only work-related incidents can be covered;
The intern is responsible for obtaining necessary visas and arranging travel and accommodation to and from Birzeit, Palestine where the internship will be performed.
