Exhibition: A People by the Sea: Narratives from the Palestinian Coast (1748-1948)

Join us in launching the catalogue for the exhibition A People by the Sea, which presents narratives of the history of the Palestinian coast, starting from the mid-18th century to the 1950s. The exhibition allows for a re-examination of the Nakba through a presentation of two hundred years of historical landmarks.

This event will shed light on the knowledge produced by the exhibition and the artistic process adopted by the museum in its catalogue production.

Extended hours for the public to see the exhibition offer a better chance for those with busy schedules during the day to be able to visit with their families and friends.

For generations, we have passed down our tradition of lighting Ramadan lanterns in pathways and homes to welcome this very special month. But did you ever think about where this custom of lighting lanterns came from? Or when it began, and for what purposes these lanterns were used? Join us with your children in learning more while we make our own Ramadan lanterns using new materials and in creative shapes.

Land Day
Planting in the Palestinian Museum gardens

Join us for a fun event in the gardens of the Palestinian Museum to commemorate Land Day. Together we will plant seedlings of various vegetables, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, okra, and perhaps some flowers and decorative plants. Enjoy learning useful and fun facts on how to successfully plant!
