Steve Sabella is an award-winning artist, writer and public speaker from Jerusalem, Palestine based in Berlin  since 2010 whose work confronts his experience of occupation, and life-long pursuit of liberation. In his artist talk he will present his new multimedia installation The Palestinian Story, the new monumental collage The Great March of Return, and will screen the video art piece that recently premiered on the opening night of the Gaza International Video Art Festival. These new works will be contextualised by previous series including the surreal triptych No Man’s Land (on view at the Palestinian Museum), 38 Days of Re-Collection, photographs of an Israeli occupied house handprinted on paint peeled from the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem, Settlement: Six Israelis & One Palestinian, and more.
