Art workshop for families and children

During the wheat harvest, Palestinian farmers make use of every bit of the crop: the grain becomes bread, the straw feeds livestock, and selected stalks are set aside for making plates, baskets, trays, jewellery, and more. Over time, the straw came to be softened, dyed, plaited, and woven into objects of use and beauty.
In this workshop, we’ll work with straw ourselves, using these techniques to shape it into different forms and objects.
