How can a museum become a place people return to, not just pass through?

This conversation takes up this question through research and teaching practice. It looks at the museum as a learning space shaped by imagination, experience, and encounters with history and culture—a place where curiosity opens onto exploration and reflection. The museum is not treated as an extension of the classroom, but as a distinct space in dialogue with the school, where knowledge is tested in living historical, social, and cultural contexts.

Learning is framed here as a shared practice, shaped through interaction with stories, objects, artistic practice, and lived experience. The conversation asks what a sustained relationship between school and museum might make possible—not a fleeting visit, but slower looking, deeper engagement, and a more critical reading of the narratives museum displays carry and the questions they raise.
